What is RSI’s greatest strength?

RSI is a great place to become fluent English speakers.  We bring native English teachers from the US and other English speaking countries.  We also have a thriving community where the children learn to appreciate one another and help each other.  We focus a tremendous amount of energy on character building.

What does RSI do better than other schools?

We are distinct in that we focus on getting our students to develop through inquiry based learning and by speaking and writing in English.

What are the schools’ Core values?

How are teaching materials selected?

School leadership decides on teaching materials based on national standards of various countries and on what will get students best prepared to elite schools around the world.  Teaching material is picked in a manner that incorporates ideals and practices for inquiry based learning and scaffolding, thereby building skills and abilities.

What is the school’s schedule for parents to drop off my children and pick them up?

Parents should always drop off their children 10 to 15 minutes before the start of school.   This will give students enough time to calmly prepare for school and classes.  Parents are expected to be on time to pick up their children when they are excused from school.

Is RSI offering scholarships to students?

RSI is currently in the process of developing a scholarship fund.  For more information, contact the school for the scholarship criteria.

What is the average Student/Teacher Ratio?

Our primary classes average 12 students to 1 teachers

Our kindy classes average about 5 students per teacher with lower ratios for younger grades.

What is the school’s commitment to technology?

RSI sees that technology is a key component to a successful career and future.  We are committed to seeing our students utilize technology, not only to write papers and give presentations, but to create ideas.  We are excited to see how students grow and expand their abilities in this field.

What is the Afterschool Program? And who can join?

RSI has a wide variety of courses that range from art, music and sports to academic ands and tutoring.  Please contact the school to find out the schedule for our Aferschool Program.

What measures are in place to ensure my child’s safety at your school?

The school has trained its entire staff to international standards of safety.  This includes emergency fire, earthquake and intruder training.  All of our teachers and staff go through CPR and first aid training.  We utilize cctv cameras throughout the school and have security at the entrance, during operational hours.
